The Hughes Family

Kari called this view "Maple Syrup Skies".

I really liked that. The sky was heavy with winter clouds and forest floor was carpeted with half melted snow. We wore jackets and mitts, and then we didn't, in a day caught between winter and spring. A perfect day to collect sap and a perfect day to collect pictures of the Hughes family at play. All sweet things.
